Apart from State and Central Govt. Scholarships such as National Merit, State Merit Physically handicapped. Talent Search, Sports, ST/SC/OBC/MOBS, the College also offers the following awards and scholarships to meritorious students:

•  Free studentship is awarded for one year term to the best student of Higher Secondary first year class securing highest marks not less than 70% in the last qualifying examination.

•  Free studentship is awarded for one year term to the best student of Higher Secondary Second year class securing highest marks not less than 70% in the last qualifying examination.

•  Free studentship is awarded for one year term to the best student of Degree first year classes both Arts and Science. One from each faculty securing highest marks not less than 70% in the last qualifying examination. However, the free studentships may be continued for another terms to such students if the result of the recipients maintain the same standard of above selection criterion.

•  Free students are awarded for one year terms to the best students degree third year classes both Arts and Science, one from each faculty securing highest marks not less than 60% in the last qualifying examination.

•  K.N. Roychoudhury memorial scholarship is awards to the student securing highest marks among the first class Major/General holders from this college in the B.A. examination of the year.

•  D.N. Roychoudhury memorial scholarship is awards to the student securing highest marks among the first class Major/General holders from this college in the B.Sc. examination of the year.

•  Hakim Ch. Rabha memorial award is felicited to the best singer of the college.
