Arts Stream:
•  Compulsory Subjects:  English,  Alternative English or MIL – Assamese/Bodo.
•  Elective Subjects: (Any four of the following including one additional subject)
Advance Assamese, Education, Economics, Political Science, History, Logic & Philosophy, Geography, Anthropology, Mathematics, Statistics, Introductory Computer Science.
Subject Bar: Education/ Logic & Philosophy, History/ Mathematics, Advance Assamese/Statistics.

Science Stream:
•  Compulsory Subjects: English,  Alternative English or MIL – Assamese/Bodo
•  Elective Subjects: (Any four of the following including one additional subject):
Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Anthropology, Logic & Philosophy, Introductory Computer Science.
Subject Bar: Physics/Anthropology, Physics/Geography, Anthropology/Logic & Philosophy/Statistics.

Eligibility
[Higher Secondary (10+2) Course (both Arts and Science stream)]

:
Students who have successfully completed the Higher Secondary Leaving Certificate (HSCL) examination conducted by Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) or any other equivalent examination conducted by any Board, Council or University recognized by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council are eligible to take the above mentioned Higher Secondary course.

THREE YEAR DEGREE COURSE:

(A) TDC Arts stream:

Course structure of TDC Arts (Major):

(i) Compulsory Subjects: (a) English (b) Alternative English or MIL: Assamese/Bodo
(ii) Students who want to take major shall have to select any one subject and shall have to select one elective subjects from the following:
Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Elective Assamese, Elective Bodo, Anthropology, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics.

(iii) Subject Bar:
Education/Philosophy; History/Mathematics; Elective Assamese/Elective Bodo/ Statistics; Assamese Major/Elective Assamese.

Course Structure of TDC Arts (General)
(i) Compulsory Subjects: (a) English (b) Alternative English or MIL:Assamese/Bodo/Hindi* Bengali*/Nepali*.
*For Hindi, Bengali and Nepali languages there is no classroom study facility. Students opting for any one these subjects shall have to obtain prior permission from Gauhati University and shall have to pay noncollegiate fee for appearing final examination.

(ii) Elective subjects: (Any two from the following)
Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Elective Assamese, Elective Bodo, Anthropology, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics.

(iii) Subject Bar: Educational / Philosophy; History / Mathematics; Elective Assamese / Elective Bodo / Statistics. The course structure of TDC Arts stream with marks in Major and General subject are as per guideline of G.U.

(B) TDC Science Stream:
Dudhnoi College offers major in Science stream. Students any take major in any one of following subjects:
Anthropology, Geography, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Course structure for

TDC Science (Major):
(a) Students having major in any one of the subject mentioned above shall have to select any two subjects as elective.
The course structure is follows:
1. Compulsory subjects: English
2. Elective subjects: (Any two of the following)
Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Mathematics, Geology, Zoology, Anthropology, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Fish and Fishery.

(b) A students opts for Economics as one of the students in degree Science must have to take Mathematics and Statistics as combination subjects.

(c) Subject Bar: Phy./Anth., Anth./Sta., Phy./Geo.,Industria Fish and Fisheries/Botany.

TDC Science (General):
(a) Compulsory subjects: English
(b) Elective subjects: (Any three of the following) Phy., Chem., Bot., Math., Geo., Zoo., Anth., Sta., Eco., I.F.F., N.B.: A students opts for Eco. As one of the subject in Degree Science must have to take Math and Sta. as combination subject.
(c) Subject Bar: Phy./Anth., Phy.,/Geo., Anth.,/Stat., IFF./Bot.

3. Course structure of TDC Science stream with subject wise marks in Major and General course in Part – I, Part – II and Part – III are as per G.U. guideline.

(i) TDC Part – I (First Year):  

Eligibility
[Three Years Degree (1+1+1) Course (both Arts and Science stream)] : Students who have the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination in their respective stream conducted by any Board, Council or University recognized by Gauhati University are eligible to undertake the Degree courses

ADMISSION PROCEDURE :

•  Admission in Higher Secondary and Degree course are strictly made on the basis of merit and interview. Only those students who satisfy the eligibility criteria as determined by Assam Higher Secondary Education Council and Gauhati University for Higher Secondary and Degree Course respectively will be eligible for admission.

•  Major in any subjects is offered purely on the basis of marks scored by a student in the Entrance Examination, conducted by the concerned department. Minimum qualifying marks for opting major by a student of his/her choice is 40% in the concerned subject of his/her last qualifying examination.

•  Application for seeking admission to the college should be in the prescribed admission form. Students may obtain prospectus along with admission form and Academic Calendar & Progress Report of the students from College Office on payment of Rs.50/- in cash on all working days.

•  A student desiring for admission must-submit his/her duly filled in admission form within the stipulated date, as fixed by the College Authority. Incomplete and delayed submission of application forms will be summery rejected without intimation to the concerned candidate/candidates.

•  Admission will be held same date of the interview. Candidates shall have to pay the necessary dues in cash at the time of admission.
•  Fees structure of different course are given in the later part of the prospectus.
•  At the time of interview, candidates shall have to produce the following documents before the admission board.
•  The original mark sheets of the last qualifying examination.
•  Original Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
•  Proof of Age(HSCL Admit card/Certificate)
•  A gap certificate stating reason is to be produce by the student who has passed qualifying examination earlier.
•  Passport size photograph (Two copies)
•  Magration/Transfer certificate as the case may be.
•  The college provides reservation seats for ST,SC,OBC,MOBC, Physically handicapped persons, Outstanding sports person etc. as per provision of departmental norms.
•  Casual admission to HS & Degree final year class will be held after Puja Vacation
